Passing your degree
Ten easy ways to get good grades
1. Attend the occasional lecture - sober.
2. Bribe your tutor with pints and food - they don't get paid much so this should prove easy.
3. Buy a diary and use it. Put in deadlines for work, tutorials and exam dates. Refer to regularly.
4. Use your own words when writing notes and keep them brief, it will be easier to understand when you read them through again come revision time.
5. Sleep, absolutely vital to get some, but try to wake before pub-time occasionally to catch up on the world
6. Eat, helps your brain to work.
7. Do a little work everyday if possible to keep stress levels down.
8. Sell the TV and subscribe to a newspaper instead.
9. Set out your notes in a way that is easy to relate to the syllabus and use keywords, that way you won't spend cramming time searching for one fact among a mountain of pages.
10. Go out, drink, see your friends and generally be happy. Staying in studying all the time will get you down as well as making it impossible for you to absorb facts.
